A DRAWING CONTEST BEFORE TO DO TOGETHER THE eVe+ COAT OF ARMS

 

Il est prévu de faire réaliser aux élèves présents le blason de notre projet commun lors du voyage d'étude  prévu à Saint-Jean-de-Luz en avril.

Pour que cet atelier fonctionne correctement, il faut que chaque école partenaire nous fasse parvenir avant le 1er avril les dessins proposés par ses élèves pour illustrer le thème d'étude qui lui a été confié (l'un des quatre éléments fondamentaux de la nature).

Nous lançons le concours de dessin pour la France : il doit s'agir de dessins simples exécutés en noir ou en blanc sur un fond uniquement vert (les autres pays travaillent en bleu, jaune ou rouge exclusivement, en fonction de leurs élément !)

It is planned  the students taking part in C1 (France, in  April) will create the coat of arms of our common project (QUINTESSENCE) 

For this workshop to be efficient, each partner school must send us before April 1st the drawings proposed by their students to illustrate the study theme entrusted to them (one of the four fundamental elements of nature). 

We are launching now the drawing contest for France: these must be simple drawings executed in black or white on a green background only (other countries work in blue, yellow or red exclusively, depending on their element!)

Utilisez une feuille A4 (format portrait) pour votre dessin, et n'y inscrivez de préférence aucune écriture (mais n'oubliez pas de mettre votre nom au dos).

Use an A4 sheet (portrait) for your drawing, and preferably do not write letters on it (but don't forget to put your name on the back)

DATE DE REMISE DU DESSIN reportée : jusqu'au 8 avril ; on peut aussi rendre sa production au CDI

consigne : produire un dessin ou un collage ou tout autre réalisation graphique pour illustrer l'un des quatre éléments fondamentaux selon les anciens alchimistes : la Terre. D'autres écoles et NON VOUS traiteront de l'eau, l'air et le feu. Ce dessin doit être composé IMPÉRATIVEMENT sur un fond vert ou un camaïeu de vert (on tracera par dessus des traits en noir ou en blanc) et représenter une interprétation libre du sujet.

Faites parvenir votre production à l'une des personnes suivantes : Vanderplancke, Augé, Puyjalon, Dolhats.

A NEW CONVERSATION to build between Basque Country and Polish Coast

Today  Messrs. Vanderplancke and Pacholczyk represented the association named ILARGIA and the Lycée Maurice Ravel during the ceremony organized at the City Hall in order to create a new association dedicated to French-Polish friendships in Saint-Jean- de-Luz. We mentioned the existence of our Erasmus + partnership with Kwidzin, the planned study travel we'll make to this destination before the summer holidays, and our intention to strengthen cooperation between young people from both nations as part of the policy of open teaching carried by Ravel High School.

Mr. Casteret, Deputy for Defense and Ceremonies, presided over this installation and Mr. Mayor participated in the cocktail that followed.

Ce soir MM Vanderplancke et Pacholczyk représentaient l'association ILARGIA et le Lycée Maurice Ravel - en l'absence de M. le Proviseur, excusé - lors de la cérémonie organisée en vue de créer une association des amitiés franco-polonaises à Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Nous avons signalé  l'existence de notre partenariat Erasmus+ avec Kwidzin, le projet de voyage d'étude envisagé vers cette destination avant les vacances d'été, et notre intention de renforcer la coopération entre jeunes des deux nations dans le cadre de la politique d'ouverture européenne et internationale du Lycée Ravel. M Casteret, Adjoint à la Défense et aux cérémonies, a présidé cette installation et M. le Maire a participé au cocktail qui a suivi.

Dans son discours, M. le Consul de Pologne en Castille et Cantabrie (présent ainsi que son homologue, M le Consul de Pologne en Navarre et Euskadi)  a rappelé les liens historiques unissant la France à la Pologne et la célébration annuelle de l'opération Ariel (1940), insistant sur l'importance de bâtir une relation sur l'Histoire mais aussi de partager un futur commun : tout un programme parfaitement compatible avec les ambitions d'une école secondaire innovante et dynamique comme l'est le Lycée Maurice Ravel. Et avec les objectifs de la Ligue Internationale pour l'Innovation pédagogique ILARGIA, dont le siège est fixé dans notre cité scolaire.

In his speech, the Consul of Poland (in Castile and Cantabria) recalled the historical ties between France and Poland and the annual celebrations of Operation Ariel (1940), emphasizing the importance of building a relationship on History but also to share a common future: a whole program perfectly compatible with the ambitions of Ravel high school.

E+L.o.L. ERASMUS+ LAND OF LEGENDS

I – INFORMATION

Our accountant is now ready to expedy you your contracts (then to give you 80% of the funds the EU has promised you, as soon as your boss will have signes the contract and sent it back to us). But our winter holidays are finishing only the 28th of february, so I believe you will have to wait a little more the documents till... very early in March.

II – SCHEDULE QUESTION

Please Angela give us the best moments you think you can choose to do C1 in Kwidzin. In may, in our case, we are free enough but we would prefer to block the very first part of the month (week 2 for example) or the farest end, to avoid a not suitable coupling with another mobility we have to do (in another partnership's progress) during the same month.

III – PEDAGOGIC ISSUES TO PREPARE C1

The first exchange main goal is to study common moral values the legends may help to be understood and shared by people. We think every school may present a power point made to prepare the meeting. A debate about would be a sort of ice breaker ?

Concerning the French future participants, they have made in classroom some works dedicated to both greek latin myths (Apulée, Artemis, Daphné, Narcissus ) and some have to study Icarus and Dedalus. So it would be interesting for them to make a brain storming with your pupils to find all the qualities and flaws and ethical values ​​conveyed by these narratives. And each of the other school could try to do the same from another type of legends ?

We (Séverine and me) wish to make you a videoconference in March (if you do agree) to fix the things with you (pedagogic preparation)? Do not dare to give informations about the weeks you cannot move to Poland in order to make easier the design of the exchange by Kwidzin team !

5 élèves (participants) et 2 accompagnateurs sont prévus dans chaque école concernée (il vous est possible d'ajouter des personnes supplémentaires, dans la limite de votre enveloppe budgétaire, mais interdit de faire moins de mobilités individuelles que prévu – ce critère étant cependant apprécié en fin de projet, sur la totalité des voyages)

SCHEDULE

Three study travels to France C1 and to Romania C2 we planned to implement asap ; then Latvia C3 (next autumn) FOR 5 STUDENTS AND 2 STAFFS;

A transnational meeting in Cluj R2 could be done in June if our schedule is not postponed (next school year : the conclusive meeting R3 is to be organized in Cesme).

April, from the 10^th to the 16^th of April : the best time for us in order to welcome C1 participants (exchange 11-15, 2 travel days). SOLUTION n°1

At the second rank, it is possible to from the 27^th of March to the 2^nd of April (exchange 28-1, 2 travel days) SOLUTION n°2

COOPERATIVE ACTIVITIES we are planning to do, Jean-Luc and me

DAY 1 ICE BREAKERS

Main goal: to do a common logo from drawings made in each country before the meeting. In our schools, we would ask to pupils to make some drawings about the local element (colorized in the appropriated way: for example for French pupils the goal is to make a green drawing about earth, for Cluj pupils it is to do a red drawing about the Fire,and so on...). Project holders will come to France with their students drawings, we will make copies of all the drawings and we'll dispatch the papers to some transnational teams . The teams would have to join 4 drawings they choose in a single logo (coat af arms), like you do in a puzzle. A sort of contest

WELCOME TO NORWAY!

A new partnership named "For Green Citizen" is to be soon initialized by Ravel team after the High School was accreditated last month, wich means it must be more easy to take part to KA1 actions.

The goal is to enhance linguistic skills of participants (targeted group is the ENGLISH EURO section). The main project holder will be in France Mrs Prof. Laurie Petoin.
