FIRST NOTE TO PROJECT HOLDERS OF eVe+ PARTNERSHIP 2020-2022

NOTE DE COORDINATION INTERNATIONALE n°1

Le cinquième élément : connaître les forces de la Nature et produire une énergie durable

The French Agency has just sent us the contract confirming the acceptance of our partnership project. This paper did not arrive in the mail until this last Friday, in late from our point of view (cause we were impatient). Signing the agreement quickly should now allow us to receive an advance on the grants that have been promised to us (but a delay of 45 days can intervene between the reception of the document and the first payments).

As no revision of the amount of funds allocated to the Ravel high school has been announced to us, there is no reason why you should not receive the entire grant requested in the application file and your own national agency should not delay in make you a contract similar to ours.

I am afraid it may be difficult to start joint activities while we are still without financial means and I know the pandemic threatens the holding of the first meeting scheduled for December. But I will contact you in a few weeks in order to try to implement a first video workshop remotely (so that our students can make a first drawing together by connecting at the same time: probably a Wednesday at the beginning of the afternoon or during the meridian break if everyone can accept this schedule). Perhaps most of the cooperative activities shall really start in 2021, especially if the launch seminar has to be postponed. By now, wait and see: this point could be the subject of a joint decision (depending on the health situation) taken by videoconference.

All the partners can already recruit the students they wish to involve (in France, a hard core of around twenty 15 years old students from SECONDE INTERNATIONALE and some volunteers from 16 to 18 from all the classes, who will be willing to participate freely in Erasmus + activities (by getting involved in particular in a drawing workshop but also by supporting our school which should welcome foreign students in November as part of another project).

We went back to school on the 1^st of september but you are probably just beginning the reloading after Quarantaine time and Holidays, so I believe you are very busy.

POST SCRIPTUM It must be possible to meliorate our logo with something in the piece of color instead the three, cloud ...and so on. More typically linked to our country or our school so it can be a subject for a joint work.

THE QUINTESSENCE PARTNERSHIP: FUNDING GRANTED BY EUROPE

eVe+ Quintessence partnership (Le cinquième élément : connaître les forces de la Nature et produire une énergie Durable) was accepted, according to the Erasmus+ French National Agency website.

Impacts will have to be more detailed by the High Schools' team, and the evaluation of our common applicant form was focused on 4 items we can meliorate:

- Progress in key abilities must be analysed and monitored by all the partners (not only the International Coordinator would have to take part in this process).

- Local opening to other schools, corporates and associations will have to be developed in every country.

- Evaluation tools and sequences must be more formalized especially for the Turkish school (because it is a newbie).   The team is described as "an appropriate set of four schools" and the inclusion of Cesme as a "win-win partnership".

- Dissemination may be planned with more precisions and events be implemented in each city.

All these issues will be in the agenda of R1 (the first transnational meeting - to be done in Riga, perhaps in December).

A GANTT CHART FOR THE eVe+ NEW EUROPEAN PROJECT

Now waiting for the Decision of the National Agency (in July) about the "energyplus QUINTESSENCE Erasmus+" applicant form sent to the EU representatives, we'll have to come back to our Gantt Chart before to begin transnational and local activities from september, in order to complete the dispatching of Tasks. All the resources are not still identified since we first need to be absolutely sure to know:

1/ if the partnership is concretizing

2/ who (among our colleagues) is or not in the pedagogic team after the school managers finish the organizational plan for next year. Anyway, a part of the works will have to be done outside the classrooms, so people are free to join the moove!
