A LABEL FOR THE ILARGIA LEAGUE

La participation de notre association de professeurs européens - la "ligue ILARGIA" basée au Lycée Ravel de Saint-Jean-de-Luz, où elle a été créée en 2018 - aux commémorations de l'opération ARIEL a été labellisée. Il s'agissait d'organiser la réception d'une collègue polonaise (venue avec une étudiante) dans le cadre des cérémonies du 18 juin, et à l'occasion d'une conférence trilatérale des parties prenantes du projet interscolaire européen ACMÉ RESISTANCE - lequel n'est pas supporté par l'Union Européenne - ceci en vue d'organiser des échanges entre lycéens sur le thème de la défense des Libertés, l'Histoire et la Mémoire, et de valoriser l'histoire commune de la France et la Pologne dans le contexte local).    

ACMÉ RESISTANCE "Fight for Freedom" is valorized by a label given today by French authorities concerning the participation of the ILARGIA League and High SChools from Saint Jean de Luz (Lycée Ravel) and Kwidzyn in the celebrations of the Second World War. At the same time all the ACMÉ RESISTANCE members were in the meeting ACROSS BORDER (IRL with Polish and French representatives: from southen Basque Country #Beasain (BHI) #Basauri (BHI) #Pamploan (IES Plaza DeLa Cruz) / remotely involved Baldones vidduskola (Latvia) and Colegiul Economic Iulian Pop (Cluj-Napoca, Romania).

D'ors et déjà, la réception de lycéens Poméraniens (de la ville de Kwidzyn / Społeczne Liceum im. Polskich Noblistów w Kwidzynie) est prévue en mai 2025 - après qu'une délégation luzienne se sera rendue en Pologne aux environs de Pâques, en principe, et grâce au programme ERASMUS+ mis en poeuvre au Lycée Ravel. L'ambition de la Ligue est de faire travailler ensemble dans le cadre d'une éducation à la citoyenneté des écoles secondaires européennes, mais également des associations et d'autres institutions publiques. Elle est soutenue par la Ville, M le Maire ayant notamment convié la Ligue et son invitée lors des cérémonies officielles du  18 juin dernier. 

The participation of our association of European teachers - the "ILARGIA league" based at the Lycée Ravel in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, where it was created in 2018 - in the commemorations of Operation ARIEL was recognized. The aim was to organize the reception of a Polish colleague as part of the June 18 ceremonies, and on the occasion of a trilateral conference of the parties involved in the European interschool project ACMÉ RESISTANCE - which is not supported by the European Union - with a view to organizing exchanges between high schools on the theme of the defense of Freedoms, History and Memory, and to promote the common history of France and Poland in the local context.

The reception of Pomeranian high school students (from the town of Kwidzyn) is already planned for May 2025 after a Luzian delegation will have visited Poland thanks to ERASMUS+ accreditation's funds (certainly around Easter). The League's ambition is to bring together European secondary schools, but also associations and other public institutions, within the framework of citizenship education. It is supported by the City, the Mayor having notably invited the League and its guest during the official ceremonies of June 18th.

Hello everybody, thanks for your attention

1. Note first we'll implement a special meeting of our Board (conseil d'administration) on Thursday at 3.30 pm (local time). Almost all of the Be.Bo.P project holders are members of the NGO, whose name is the ILARGIA LEAGUE of European Teachers associated for the reuse of genial innovations and activities (except a little numbers of them: who where in the crew but are no more... or not still!). Everyone may assist to the meeting, only implemented in order to register the expenditures made for holding European projects the association is carrying out (and speaking a little on the topic of the next symposium at the end of 2025). I believe it will done quickly - we'll disseminate at the same time on line...

2. It seems no one has made any proposal in the IDEAS BOX open from january. It is a challenge and could become a problem if this space stays empty before the workshop devoted to the writing of our documentary film. Moreover I am not sure creating a collaborative spot to achieve the common task may be useful in this case. Please ask your students to send some ideas using the questionnaire available from https://nbeplus.franceserv.eu/IDEAS.html

3. Be aware on budget question. I hope the second part of our grants will be paid in March (theoretically it must be done just at the same time of the meeting in Montijo) and I am confident enough we have no reduction of these funds (cross fingers). But I must warn you that the National Agency is looking our expenditures with many attention. The risk to have a reduction of the total grants does exist, due to the explanations we'll have to indicate to justify the high level of investisments by the Roman team in the last period of the project implementation, considering the Italian organisation is the host of the C5 LTTA. We shall must insist on the filming sessions - which are as a special need (all the missing scenes to be added to the rushes are supposed to be made in Roma) but we may also ask to partners to create a special funds for the montage, with a more substantial part from IIS Via Emery (?) Anyway, at this stage, in case the N/A should decide to reduce our funds, it could not be taken to partners who spent all the grants they claimed for but only to entities who claimed some money they did not totally use... ANNOUNCEMENT OF A FUTURE MOBILITY THE Lycée Ravel IS INVITED TO TAKE PART IN BY THE ILARGIA LEAGUE

La Ligue ILARGIA pour l'innovation et la coopération européenne fera participer, grâce au soutien du Proviseur M. Philippe Lesca,  deux professeurs et deux élèves à une rencontre transnationale programmée à la fin du mois de mars dans la région de Stuttgart. Il s'agira pour la Ligue ILARGIA de former les futurs décideurs mondiaux tout en sensibilisant aux grands enjeux de la protection de la biodiversité et du développement durable dans le cadre du partenariat MODEL/SMUN qui la lie à trois entités étrangères ; une association turque basée à Antalya, deux lycées situées à Esslingen (Allemagne) et Gdynia (Pologne).

The ILARGIA League for Innovation and European Cooperation will, thanks to the support of the Headmaster Mr. Philippe Lesca, involve two teachers and two students in a transnational meeting scheduled for the end of March in the Stuttgart region. The ILARGIA League will train future global decision-makers while raising awareness of the major issues of biodiversity protection and sustainable development within the framework of the SMUN partnership that links it to three foreign entities; a Turkish association based in Antalya, two high schools located in Esslingen (Germany) and Gdynia (Poland).

6th general assembly of the ILARGIA LEAGUE of European Teachers - reports and game changers

 

L'Assemblée Générale ordinaire du 23 juin 2023 s'est réunie à Getaria. 40 adhérents se trouvaient à jour de leur cotisation et étaient donc suceptibles de prendre part aux travaux et de s'exprimer, en direct ou à distance. 27 membres ont participé aux votes (11 ayant donné procuration à cette fin).

   

L'AG a confirmé toutes les adaptations déjà discutées dans le cadre du CA pour rendre la LIGUE ILARGIA capable de porter un projet ERASMUS+  voire faciliter son intervention en tant qu'intermédiaire chargé de gérer les subventions forfaitaires payées par le Lycée Ravel (ou toute école secondaire qui en ferait la demande et dont le Bureau jugerait que celle-ci est recevable).

Le rapport moral a été approuvé à l'unanimité et l'on a discuté par ailleurs de l'avenir (un colloque moins improvisé que celui mis en place en juin est prévu l'an prochain: ce pourrait être l'occasion de retourner en Catalogne si l'ACESC le souhaite)

The Ordinary General Meeting of June 23, 2023 met in Getaria. 40 members were up to date with their dues and were therefore likely to take part in the work and express themselves, live or remotely. 27 members took part in the votes (11 having given power of attorney for this purpose).

     

 

The GA confirmed all the adaptations already discussed within the framework of the CA to make the ILARGIA LEAGUE capable of carrying out an ERASMUS+ project or even facilitating its intervention as an intermediary responsible for managing the lump sum grants paid by the Lycée Ravel (or any school secondary school which requests it and which the Bureau seems to be admissible).

        

     

The moral report was unanimously approved and we also discussed the future (a less improvised symposium than the one set up in June is planned for next year: this could be an opportunity to return to Catalonia if the ACESC wishes)

We'd like our former members (some of them left after COVID or the end of partnerships between our schools) to come back to join us again !

THE INTERNATIONAL COORDINATOR TOOK PART IN THE CEREMONY IMPLEMENTED IN BRUSSELS BY THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION THE 25th OF OCTOBER AFTER A LOCAL CELEBRATION WAS ORGANIZED THE 15th OF OCTOBER IN SAINT JEAN DE LUZ FOR THE #ERASMUSDAYS.

ILARGIA LEAGUE WILL VALORIZE AND DISSEMINATE THE EITA PRIZE DURING THE 3rd INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM THE ASSOCIATION IS TO ORGANIZE IN CLUJ-NAPOCA ON THE 10th OF NOVEMBER. A GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO CELEBRATE THE SPECIAL RELATIONSHIPS ETABLISHED WITH THE COLEGIUL ECONOMIC "IULIAN POP" AND THE PLACE FOR A DEBATE ON "WHAT IS AN EFFICIENT AND SUSTAINABLE PEDAGOGIC PROJECT" ACCORDING TO EXPERIMENTED TEACHERS OF THE International League (of European Teachers) Associated for Reuse of Genial Innovations and Activities.

A NEW CONVERSATION to build between Basque Country and Polish Coast

Today  Messrs. Vanderplancke and Pacholczyk represented the association named ILARGIA and the Lycée Maurice Ravel during the ceremony organized at the City Hall in order to create a new association dedicated to French-Polish friendships in Saint-Jean- de-Luz. We mentioned the existence of our Erasmus + partnership with Kwidzin, the planned study travel we'll make to this destination before the summer holidays, and our intention to strengthen cooperation between young people from both nations as part of the policy of open teaching carried by Ravel High School.

Mr. Casteret, Deputy for Defense and Ceremonies, presided over this installation and Mr. Mayor participated in the cocktail that followed.

Ce soir MM Vanderplancke et Pacholczyk représentaient l'association ILARGIA et le Lycée Maurice Ravel - en l'absence de M. le Proviseur, excusé - lors de la cérémonie organisée en vue de créer une association des amitiés franco-polonaises à Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Nous avons signalé  l'existence de notre partenariat Erasmus+ avec Kwidzin, le projet de voyage d'étude envisagé vers cette destination avant les vacances d'été, et notre intention de renforcer la coopération entre jeunes des deux nations dans le cadre de la politique d'ouverture européenne et internationale du Lycée Ravel. M Casteret, Adjoint à la Défense et aux cérémonies, a présidé cette installation et M. le Maire a participé au cocktail qui a suivi.

Dans son discours, M. le Consul de Pologne en Castille et Cantabrie (présent ainsi que son homologue, M le Consul de Pologne en Navarre et Euskadi)  a rappelé les liens historiques unissant la France à la Pologne et la célébration annuelle de l'opération Ariel (1940), insistant sur l'importance de bâtir une relation sur l'Histoire mais aussi de partager un futur commun : tout un programme parfaitement compatible avec les ambitions d'une école secondaire innovante et dynamique comme l'est le Lycée Maurice Ravel. Et avec les objectifs de la Ligue Internationale pour l'Innovation pédagogique ILARGIA, dont le siège est fixé dans notre cité scolaire.

In his speech, the Consul of Poland (in Castile and Cantabria) recalled the historical ties between France and Poland and the annual celebrations of Operation Ariel (1940), emphasizing the importance of building a relationship on History but also to share a common future: a whole program perfectly compatible with the ambitions of Ravel high school.
