#ERASMUSDAYS: a celebration is planned in France the 14th of october

In the same time the Lycée Ravel's team must implement the third edition of the local ERASMUS MOB event, including our friends of eTwinning and QUINTESSENCE projects, partners from TERRE DE LÉGENDES (E+ L.o.L.) coming from Poland, Romania and Türkiye will be in Saint Jean de Luz from the 10th to the 14th of october.

A good opportunity to disseminate this project (and also the other cooperative transnational actions hold by the High School). That is the reason why the 14th of october was choosen to celebrate EUROPE and ERASMUS+ programme.

FIN D'ANNÉE EN FANFARE POUR LE PROGRAMME ERASMUS+ au Lycée Maurice Ravel de Saint-Jean-de-Luz

 - Six élèves du Lycée Ravel, encadrés par deux professeurs (MM Puyjalon et Vanderplancke) et un expert ès Beaux-Arts (M Léo Dubarbier) ont participé à un voyage d'étude en Roumanie du 27 mai au 3 juin et viennent de rentrer ce vendredi. Il s'agissait, dans le cadre du partenariat d'innovation et d'échange de bonnes pratiques QUINTESSENCE,  de s'intéresser aux forces de la nature et à la production d'énergie depuis le début de l'ère industrielle. Une activité co-financée par l'Europe dans le cadre de l'action clef 2 du programme ERASMUS+ et qui permettra de rattraper le temps perdu du fait de la pandémie.

- Six students from Lycée Ravel, supervised by two teachers (MM Puyjalon and Vanderplancke) and a Fine Arts expert (M Léo Dubarbier) took part in a study trip to Romania from May 27 to June 3 and have just returned this Friday (see photo). Within the framework of the QUINTESSENCE partnership for innovation and the exchange of best practices, the main goal to target was to study the forces of nature and the production of energy since the beginning of the industrial era. An activity co-financed by Europe within the framework of key action 2 of the ERASMUS+ program and which will make up for the time lost due to the pandemic.

- Six autres lycéen(nes) et deux professeurs, Mme Augé et M Vanderplancke, s'apprêtent à partir pour la Pologne (à Kwidzyn puis à Gdansk, sur la Vistule) du 12 au 18 juin prochain, dans le cadre du projet de coopération TERRE DE LÉGENDES qui vise à développer les relations entre quatre écoles secondaires. Les élèves seront reçus dans des familles, et ensuite recevront à leur tour des correspondants. Un déplacement co-financé par l'Europe dans le cadre de l'action clef 2 du programme ERASMUS+ et d'autant plus stratégique que l'on sait l'intérêt des autorités municipales pour un rapprochement avec la Pologne compte tenu de l'histoire de notre port.

- Six other high school students and two teachers, Mrs Augé and Mr Vanderplancke, are preparing to leave for Poland (to Kwidzyn then to Gdansk, on the Vistula) from June 11 to 19, as part of the cooperation project LAND OF LEGENDS which aims to develop relations between four european secondary schools. The students will be received in families, and then will in turn receive pen pals. A trip co-financed by Europe within the framework of key action 2 of the ERASMUS+ program and all the more strategic as we know the interest of municipal authorities for a rapprochement with Poland given the history from our port.

- Une délégation norvégienne sera reçue du 11 au 17 juin (sous la responsabilité de Mmes Petoin et Fabysch) dans l'intention d'amorcer un échange de longue durée permettant aux élèves de la section européenne Anglais du Lycée Ravel de mettre en oeuvre des mobilités en direction de ce pays scandinave, grâce à un co-financement par l'Europe dans le cadre de l'action clef 1 du programme ERASMUS+

- A Norwegian delegation will be received from June 12 to 18 (under the responsibility of Mrs Petoin and Mrs Fabysch) with the intention of initiating a long-term exchange allowing students from the European English section of Lycée Ravel to implement mobility in the direction of this Scandinavian country, thanks to co-financing by Europe within the framework of key action 1 of the ERASMUS+ programme.

- Une semaine de mobilisation en faveur de l'action européenne et internationale du Lycée Ravel est prévue à l'automne prochain;  elle se tiendra pour la troisième fois et partiellement en mode virtuel (visioconférences)  et impliquera l'ensemble des projets pédagogiques cités auparavant, mais aussi des écoles secondaires ayant participé notamment au partenariat ERASMUSPLUSANIMALS, récemment achevé et liées au Lycée Ravel par des coopérations "en ligne" de type eTwinning.

- A week of mobilization in favor of the European and international action of the Lycée Ravel is planned for next autumn (ERASMUS MOB event); it will be held for the third time and partially in virtual mode (videoconferences) and will involve all the school teams in the educational projects mentioned above, but also some other secondary schools that have participated in particular in the ERASMUSPLUSANIMALS partnership, recently completed and linked to the Lycée Ravel by cooperation "in line" of the eTwinning type.

NBE+ strategic partnership is now finishing.

Not really yet, since project holders will meet in Turkey in June in order to finalize the intellectual outputs they had promised to disseminate.

Anyway it is not the end of international cooperation for LYCEE RAVEL's team. Other cultural pedagogic projects will be carried out next years and the High School is already involved in a  new ERASMUS+ KA2 partnership.

Most important: we'll keep in touch with our friends and colleagues from Cesme, Cluj-Napoca, Roma and Riga and have founded an international teachers league to freely cooperate in the future...

Informations we shared between project holders (note FM6 and last post we published  in this blog) are beginning to be disseminated to pupils, parents and everybody in the communitiy. 
A presentation was done yesterday in front of Lycée Ravel Administration Council's members.
We hope now to have answers for all remaining problems to overcome 
(agenda, tranportation and cost) next week...
and we pray our friends to send us files they'd like to be valorized 
before the 1st of april.
About presentations students could do: we'll have to make a little brain storming ! 
It's not necessary to make something very complicated but we'lll have to choose a theme.

Here is our contribution for the common play. The title could be "How Dracula met Izen Gabea".
Dracula would not be the name of the main character : we will change it as soon as possible.

We need to obtain early in october (or before) the definitive drafts for national tributes to the common narrative we have to write and play together. 
Why ?
Because a rewrite to link its will be done from the Romanian synopsis during the french romanian meeting in Cluj (from the 9th to the 14th)..... it will be putted on line to your attention.
After this first feedback operation, local project holders (but also students if they are interested in) will have to make an opinion about and to give proposals to change or adopt the draft.
A second feedback according to your observations will be done just before R4 (november) to have a brainstorming (during this mobility) made from concrete texts and try to approve a final text at this time.
Soon : FM2 (about number and name of characters we want).

- Do not forget, please, that  we have to do some little things together before November :

First, you know we must edit  a definitive draft for a common transnational story in early October. As Romanian project is supposed to be used as a mainstream  this work will be done during Romanian-French meeting in Cluj (October) : it's what was called FEEDBACK 1 in our plan.

Your national texts (you wrote in order its to be linked together in a single transnational story, called our common narrative)  were already given in may, 2017. But if you want to change something in, you can still do it NOW, but before the 1st of october (as it was planned in Riga during R3 meeting and published on our Gantt Chart / Turkey did it several days ago).

From October to the November seminar, the project will be changed or not according to your observations, leading to the final version of the FEEDBACK 2, before the five teams in Cluj are consulted (all operators are asked to use the Twinspace - your students can give opinion and make proposals if you decide to do so).

Second, some of us have to study together totalitarism (works to be achieved for Christmas). It could consist to compare national experiences of this sort of ideology exchanging powerpoint ?

Tout d'abord, comme vous le savez, nous allons éditer le projet définitif pour notre histoire transnationale commune à la mi-d'octobre. (dans la mesure où le synopsis roumain doit servir de fil conducteur à ce récit théâtralisé, il est prévu que ce travail de rédaction intervienne lors de l'échange bilatéral Franco-Roumain programmé à Cluj du 9 au 14). Cette production correspond au FEEDBACK 1.

Vos textes  (les contributions de chaque pays censées être liées ensemble dans une histoire unique) ont été choisies en mai 2017.
