VIDEO INTERVIEWS MADE IN FRANCE TO BE SHARED IN C3 MOBILITY (Be.Bo.P ERASMUS+)

The educational team implemented at Lycée Ravel some lectures centered on Sustainable Development and Borders in the framework of a special event named "Green Borders, Open Frontiers?"  in order to celebrate the #Erasmusdays  2024 and to disseminate both the mobility project FGC and the Erasmus+ cooperative partnership Be.Bo.P. (KA2)

Main activities were organized  with the support of NAEN Euroregion, thanks to Ilargia LEAGUE and Elkartasuna Larrun and the other NGOs called: La Cimade, Diakité, But also, in a remotely way, with the assistance of some  eTwinners from the  Colegiul Economic "Iulian Pop" (Romania).

C3 GOALS from the 4^th to the 10^th of November in Cluj-Napoca

WP 1 – Management

C4 must be definitively scheduled. At this time, we have no guarantee about the possibility to send our progress report we prepared in june, 2024 before march. In the eventuality, it means we cannot obtain the second part of the European money we are still waiting for before next summer. So all school partners must fund the C4 mobiliy with their own ressources before to be repaid later. In fact, it is the normal way of the implementation of ERASMUS+ cooperative actions. The National Agency staff is no more so optimistic it was last year: it is staying now in the belief the commission will not change her payment calendar, which is mentioned in the Be.Bo.P contract. If most of the partner schools can find a solution to involve even a little delegation in the cooperative activity located in Portugal, I do think the best is to maintain C4 as it was in the original plan; It shall be indeed possible for one of the partners to add some people more later, in the following meetings, to make a compensation if both its learners and teachers are not implicated in C4 – we sometimes did this sort of things in the past ! But anyway the travel to Montijo was only presumed to be done from the 17th to the 21st of March and the dates must absolutely be confirmed.

Note the alternative could consist of postponing C4 LTTA from the beginning to the end of 2025: it's a big risk because doing like that means we do not apply the plan – first criterion to be supported by the commission without any penalty! And in addition we will waste time and have problems to finish our documentary film (but we have already lost our expert and will have to do by ourself most of the works!). Last inconvenient in this eventuality : we have to implement 3 meetings in the same school year 2025-2026: perhaps it is too much for our headmaster and he will not accept?

Please think on it before, see with your managers how it is possible to make without any new grant.. we need to take a resolution in Cluj. And it could be keeping the original date in March or in Springtime even if we cannot be all together in the meeting.

A little symposium must be implemented at the same time we'll do the 7^th General Assembly of the ILARGIA League of Teachers created in 2018. It should be very kind if all of you agree to take part in. It will be centered on the question : why a project (or a candidacy) is bad rated by EU evaluators ? As Genius 2022 in Cluj was focused on Good Projects, Scholar 2024 can target the problems we have with the changes in the ERASMUS+ process and present the challenges we must overcome for enhance our chances in the future selections and ensure the quality of the results of our ongpoing project. As a sample of things we must meliorate : the field trips during the LTTA must be motivated by activities : ie if we go from Cluj to Alba Iulia during C3 study travel, it is for our students (dispatched in some international teams) make some interviews of tourists, migrants, politics (I do not know if we'll do this activity it is only a sample of the necessity to present every day as a transnational educational session and not as a touristic journey!)

WP 3 – VERS L'INFINI ET AU DELÀ

A situation point is necessary about Scientific topics in the project (A7-A8) and the progress of partners. We hope the Turkish team will give during C3 the tools for each local coordinator to feed the national section in the Be.Bo.P explorer blog (A9) with art (drawings) or History (exploration and discoveries) and the productions made in Python language may have a beginning very soon.

WP 2 – SUR LES FRONTIÈRES

No deliverables to be done separately in order to be presented to other schools in Romania (this way of share was only appropriated for C1 and C2 meetings). Some of the students can make a quick comment on the international coworkings we remotely produced in the framework of the last ERASMUS MOB (in attachment) but the most useful contribution should consist each school making of a few interviews in English made at home we should perhaps put in the documentary. If you have time enough to prepare it, your students can show some presentations devoted to Science History and/or the limits between Known and Unknown as indicated in our schedule (activity 6,1). Or teachers will make a short report.

WP 4 – DANS TOUT LE ROYAUME

Producing some local video interviews and surveys on : travel, migration and borders is the priority (A10,1) in this phase and for the C3 agenda
Online courses by our cineast expert are probably forever cancelled (the reason is we cannot pay him) ; perhaps the Romanian team can find some local ressources for aworkshop with the aim of collecting some ideas from learners to prepare the documentay film's pitch ? I let Ramona and Monica take the decision about. Perhaps we can open an idea box online and/or prepare a videoconference centered on this topic (#Erasmusdays in october can be an opportunity to organize some virtual talks ?).

IN ATTACHMENT:

the debrief of the remote workshops we did in May and a lead for next year is to join the SEE.SHORE eTwinning to enhance the dissemination of the part of the job we use to do online in the framework of Be.Bo.P

Hoping these suggestions and reminders may have the Colegiul economic « Iulian Pop » to imagine the next located cooperative activity C3.

eVe+ R3 QUINTESSENCE TRANSNATIONAL MEETING: REPORTS ARE ONLINE

 This seminar was presumed to mark the "switch" between a phase dominated by Human Studies (in the past) and the Scientific approaches to be implemented during the last school year.

You can find both the R3 "report page" and the R3 "issues (and results) page" in the project holders' special website (no mobile friendly site) dedicated to the follow up of the partnership / this site is called NBE+ (NOTRE BUREAU EUROPÉEN) and is published by the French High School in charge of the international coordination : Lycée Maurice Ravel.

A NEWSPAPER'S OUTLOOK ON #EITA2022 / "SUD OUEST" AND DISSEMINATION IN FRANCE

 

We celebrated the prize given for ERASMUSPLUSANIMALS the 14th of october, 2022, at the end of the ERASMUS MOB III (the dissemination event we use to implement each year in Saint Jean de Luz in order to present the internationalization of our teachings/learnings) with all our KA2 partners, holding the E+L.o.L. project and coming from Romania, Poland and Türkiye, in association with  KA1 team of Lycée Ravel (Mrs Petoin). The ceremony was made to enjoy both #EITA award and #Erasmusdays and to show how the #Erasmus+ programme is a great tool to make education systems become more inclusive and efficient. Also to thank our institutional supporters.

KA2 partners and eTwinners included in ERASMUS MOB II activities were not only the COLEGIUL ECONOMIC "IULIAN POP" in Cluj-Napoca and the DOBRICH VETERINARY HIGH SCHOOL in Dobrich (two of the three project holders involved in the cooperative programme E+A with the Agrupamento das escolas de Alcochete).  But also: the POLSKICH NOBLISTOWE school in Kwidzyn and the IMAM HAPTIP High School in Antalya ; the ULUSOY MARITIME VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL in Cesme ; former IES Stendhal (part of ViA EMERY HIGH SCHOOL) in Roma  ; the RIGAS. RAINA in Latvia ; and the BILGIC HIGH SCHOOL in Cesme.

Merci à tous les personnels permettant la réalisation de nos échanges transnationaux, également aux collègues ayant quitté l'établissement, dignement incarnés par M Geoffroy lors de cet événement médiatique, et à l'Agence Nationale Erasmus+ représentée par deux de ses jeunes agents (Mme Thibaudeau et M Guilhem-Ducleon) lesquels ont assisté notamment à l'atelier FAREWELL organisé au CDI en guise d'adieux à l'école.

 Nous sommes par ailleurs très sensibles à l'aide morale des collectivités locale et territoriale, au bon accueil que nous ont réservé M Xabi Garat et son épouse, et  redevables du soutien des associations et prestataires ayant collaboré avec nous. "RED CASTLES" IN POLAND: the first mobility of our LAND OF LEGENDS partnership will finished the 17th of June

 

E+L.o.L. cooperation project (Erasmus+ LAND OF LEGENDS) is hold between  four High Schools located in France (coordinator) Turkey (instigator) Romania and Poland.

First aim is not to produce some ambitious intellectual outputs but to  create friendships and enhance empathy and cognitive skills of all participants.

The first exchange was presumed to be focusesd on TEACHING VALUES and is organized in KWIDZIN from the 13th to the 17th of june. 

A little overview of this meeting is available online on "legendplus" website, made in order to disseminate all the cooperations partnerships (KA2) and mobilities project (KA1) implemented by Lycée Ravel High Schools from 2021.

Next study travels:

to France C1 from the 10^th to the 16^th of April (agenda was given earlier, see IC7).

to Romania C2 from the 30^th of may to the 3^rd of June/ or if it's a problem for some of you: from the 23^rd to the 27^th This mobiliy cannot be located elsewhere if the politic situation remains difficult (cause Latvia is also in eastern Europe): if we are not able to maintain C2, it means we'll have to postpone it to next school year wich would be a bad solution.

Second transnational meeting in Cluj R2: could be done in June (very late in the month).

LOCAL ACTIVITIES

Our pupils wil take part in the International Festival of Cartoons (FIBD in Angoulême the 18th of March). The visit can be considered as a workshop for helping eVe+ implementation. Give us informations of cultural activities you can do at home in order to make a dissemination in our common website http://quintessence.franceserv.eu/ We are waiting from you some drawings or portfolios about Nature and Energy to publish its and to valorize your local productions. We plan to show during C1 to your students how to upload some contents by themselves in the spot.

DRAWING CONTEST

Please ask to pupils in your school to imagine and do a drawing about the theme of your country (air in Turkiye, water in Latvia or Fire in Romania). Thez must do it on a A4 paper with only one colour (yellow, blue or red). If you can obtain the drawings before april ans scan its or come with, we'll mix the results to do a coat of arms during the "ice breaking" day.

POST SCRIPTUM we can do a videoconference to make a deal about some of these points if it isnecessary.

Three study travels to France C1 and to Romania C2 we planned to implement asap ; then Latvia C3 (next autumn) FOR 5 STUDENTS AND 2 STAFFS;

A transnational meeting in Cluj R2 could be done in June if our schedule is not postponed (next school year : the conclusive meeting R3 is to be organized in Cesme).

April, from the 10^th to the 16^th of April : the best time for us in order to welcome C1 participants (exchange 11-15, 2 travel days). SOLUTION n°1

DAY 1 ICE BREAKERS

Main goal: to do a common logo from drawings made in each country before the meeting. In our schools, we would ask to pupils to make some drawings about the local element (colorized in the appropriated way: for example for French pupils the goal is to make a green drawing about earth, for Cluj pupils it is to do a red drawing about the Fire,and so on...). Project holders will come to France with their students drawings, we will make copies of all the drawings and we'll dispatch the papers to some transnational teams . The teams would have to join 4 drawings they choose in a single logo (coat af arms), like you do in a puzzle. A sort of contest

de la Ligue pour l'Innovation Pédagogique ILARGIA

La CA Compte une nouvelle administratrice en la personne de Mme Espuny, que nous remercions d'avance pour l'aide qu'elle ne manquera pas d'apporter à la relance des activités de la ligue ILARGIA, durement impactées par la crise de la COVID 19.

On trouvera prochainement le compte-rendu de l'AG dans le blog ILARGIA. Le CA aura à définir le thème du prochain événement culturel monté par l'Association et à confirmer le lieu d'implantation (ont été évoqués : Girone ou Barcelone) voire sa date.

The CA has a new administrator: Ms. Espuny, whom we thank in advance for the help she will not fail to bring to the relaunch of the activities of the ILARGIA league, severely impacted by the COVID crisis 19. The GA report will soon be found in the ILARGIA blog. The Board will have to define the theme of the next cultural event organized by the Association and to confirm the location (have been mentioned: Girona or Barcelona) or even its date.

DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.

 THEY MANAGED TO ORGANIZE AN EXTERNAL MOBILITY AND CAME TO FRANCE LAST WEEK IN ORDER TO FOLLOW THE PLAN AND ACHIEVE THE RESET SESSION THE PROJECT HOLDERS STARTED IN RIGA.

My dear colleagues

Let's me first thank you to maintain all your engagement in this project, strongly impacted by the Pandemic. I have no doubt we can together overcome all the troubles in order to eventually implement all the activities and mobilities we want and I believe must be sincerely very grateful to Olga and Sanita for R1 organization (and kindness). Before I send to you in a couple of days the results of R1 meeting (new deadlines, online workshops' methodology and so on) I ask you to see by now the draft ot the complete report, to be edited very soon on NBE+ (http://nbeplus.franceserv.eu/eVeR1.html) and -it is probably the most important- I'd like you to check what I wrote in the mail to the Agency. As ir could be perhaps necessary to show a proof your headmaster/headmistress agree to ask for this extesnion of the duration and your school is ok to apply our new plan I will post tomorrow a letter from my boss to yours, in order to obtain they do sign a declaration of intention.

REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL
drafted within the framework of eVe + R1 mobility (debates during the W1 workshop and formalization during the final plenary meeting)
"Taking into account the indications given on the site (COVID 19 tab) and our previous emails on the subject, I have the honor to formulate today officially on behalf of the Lycée Ravel and its partners the request for an extension of 12 months of the duration of our Erasmus + project after discussing the issue with the foreign project leaders from October 13 to 16, 2021, within the framework of the transnational meeting R1 (Boot seminar turned into a Reset meeting) and defined with them a new timetable and an educational strategy adapted to the circumstances.
Our contract having been concluded in 2020 and for 24 months, originally: its term would become August 2023 and no longer 2022 (the interim report would be postponed from September 2021 to 2022) which seems to be in harmony with the Agency's recommendations. ("End date indicated in the grant agreement. Up to 12 additional months and without exceeding 31/08/2023").
Given that the pandemic and the health protection measures have severely impacted the program of activities planned for 2020-2021, but to the extent that cooperation has nevertheless been initiated (taking the form, in particular, of a virtual workshop in December 2020 ) we agreed on a new schedule.
The planned development does not consist of postponing to 2021-2022 the activities initially planned for 2020-2021 and the program for 2022-2023 (now the last year of the project) replaces that defined originally for the year. 2021-2022 while significantly deviating from it.
Indeed, a complete reorganization of activities appeared opportune.
1 °) The first educational phase, focusing on the study of the forces of nature around the question "Energies and Myths" was, according to our application, to last a full school year (online calendar in our coordination site Our Erasmus + office NBE + on http://nbeplus.franceserv.eu/EVEprefig.html#derou). This would mean reducing its implementation in the first semester of the current school year (considered as year 1 in view of the difficulties experienced in 2020-2021, considered as year 0). Consequently, the second educational phase (on the theme "Energies and industrialization") supposed to last one semester but to be located, initially, in year 2, would be brought forward from March to August 2022. The last phase, prospective ("Sustainable energies") would instead be lengthened to take place throughout school year 2.
2) The mobility (but also the intellectual outputs expected of the pupils) will be, in the hypothesis where our proposal is validated, all carried out in accordance with the predefined plan but according to a rhythm different from that fixed in the original project. Two study trips and two graphic novels will indeed be carried out in 2021-2022, then a final study trip and a third production (conclusion of the expected "triptych") will be postponed in 2022-2023

3 °) This reorganization aims to "re-prime" the pump as soon as possible (in order not to lose, in particular, the benefit of the initial impetus which carried the learners) and is based on the reinforcement of the importance of the workshops in line (preparatory for mobility) according to modalities discussed during the R1 meeting (report on http://nbeplus.franceserv.eu/eVeR1.html).
4 °) We believe that our new strategy will allow us a certain flexibility, insofar as the agenda of the last year will, in principle be lightened, which, in the case of new difficulties related to the health context (and which would arise in particular during this school year) may authorize any postponements decided on urgently. However, the ambition of the group is rather to respect the new deadlines adopted jointly (deadlines) and to accommodate the possible occasional absence of a particular school, aiming mainly for each establishment to achieve its objectives (its number total mobility according to the initial commitments and its contribution to the common project, which must retain its transnational qualities and be the result of the cooperation of the four partners.
The proof of the consultation is undoubtedly in the participation of the schools in the R1 seminar (the Romanian team was however only able to join in by remote workshops) but we think of sending you a letter of confirmation if you wish. the sharing of our intentions, on the part of each member of the consortium.

Planning the eVe+ RESET (report of the videoconference made the 4th of september, 2021)

1 °) Organization of the first transnational meeting of the partnership
As the health context seems to allow movement across borders, we first check if the Latvian team is ready to implment R1. Each of the teams made sure of their freedom in the regard of the dates by consulting the Director beforehand.
The Rigas. 18 Vidduskola offers a launch seminar which would take place from October 12 to 16-17 (3 working days from 13 to 15 and 2 days of transport). This is a good opportunity for an effective media coverage of our cooperation, since it is the date of  #Erasmusdays.
We believe the travelers will need a complete vaccination certificate or, failing that, will have to produce the result of a recent PCR test to enter the territory of Latvia.
A point is made on the objectives assigned to mobility R1 (especially as they may have changed compared to our applicant form. The initial “boot meeting” is indeed destined to become a “reset meeting”. See the initial agenda online at http://nbeplus.franceserv.eu/EVEprefig.html#derou
2 °) Reset of the partnership
The pandemic prevented any long-range work last year. With the exception of a remote workshop made in December, it was an “empty” year. The three teams therefore agree to jointly request an extension of duration so that the first effective school year of the partnership becomes the year 2021-2022 and that the project ends in 2023. We may request the possibility of completing the partnership in December 2023, rather than June to align the eVe+ programme with new projects starting in 2021. This point will be the subject of a final decision taken in Riga, where the schedule of activities will be decided (in line with the original plan but deferred, or reworked out of necessity). The meeting will also help to define any changes in the target audience and the contents, if the need arises (according to the initial plan: year 1 was mainly focused on a study of myths and literary tasks and / or arts, year 2 was more "scientific" but this system could be amended according to the age of the selected learners).
3 °) Possibility of a virtual meeting between students
As the Lycée Ravel is due to participate on November 26 in the EUROSCOLA session wich is organized by the Parliament of Strasbourg, we think it could be interesting (for us French partner) to include this activity in a promotion week dedicated to our european and international action - in particular in order to strengthen the commitment of our students who, in principle, are in the position of hosts in year 1 and not travelers). This local activity would be carried out the week of the 26th but the previous days with various foreign correspondents (eTwinners, etc.) and could especially concern the partners of the eVe + project if they are interested in. The prefiguration of the exchanges will possibly be a topic during the mobility R1.

5 °) Coordination
Each school is requested to provide Sanita and Olga with the list of members of the delegation the team wishes to send to Riga as soon as possible, as well as the vaccination status of its members. The coordinator will quickly inquire with the French agency about the prospects for a derogatory extension of the duration of the project. He will complete the information of the host team regarding the R1 meeting issues.
