Be.Bo.P & QUINTESSENCE.RADIO first anniversaries / a transnational celebration in the framework of eTwinnings NOAH and SEE.SHORE

 

Lycée Ravel is not only working in a transnational european framework thanks to some ERASMUS+ granted actions (the Be.Bo.P KA2 is ongoing from 2023 to 2026 - coordinator Vanderplancke - and some KA1  mobilities projects are implemented with Norway - coordinator Petoin) but it is holding too, in parallel, a few  cooperative studies which are purely remotely implemented.

This is why the ERASMUS MOB event (May 17-31, 2024) has not been only focused on EU-funded partnerships but at the same time considered as an opportunity to disseminate the results of these long-standing partnerships (unfunded by the EU) which we are trying to extend, even if the migration of eTwinnings by the European Commission officers is not completed, making it impossible for all member schools to actually use the ESEP platform... It was enough easy since the ACMÉ project took place in 2024 in France, Italy (Via Emery, Stendhal plexus) Romania (Economic Colegiul "Iulian Pop") and Poland (Polskich Noblistów High School in Kwidzyn).

It is possible that, in the future, we will be obliged to replace the projects FORUM.NOAH (dedicated to the protection of Biodiversity and citizenship) and SEE.SHORE [water.worl(d)s] which is focused on contextualization of lessons through one or two new programs.

We pray all Be.Bo.P MEMBERS to (re)join us in the SEE.SHORE eTwinning's team since we want to reboost this project after the pandemic breakdown. The goal is to valorize our heritages and use context to meliorate the teachings but also to avoid that our aims to close our students'horizon thanks to ITC and some "remotely made" transnational tasks!

To people interested in the ALL CITIZENS projects (are especially concerned: both candidates in the simplified partnership that the International League ILARGIA still hopes to be selected in february, and the extended team created by the ACMÉ  application - some of the members are now in the COOPÉ+ group): you may enter -if it was not done earlier- in the FORUM.NOAH eTwinning's team. The project consists in keeping in touch schools wanting to apply the NOAH initiative for inovative and sustainable transnational projects. It will help the implementation of new cooperative partnerships in the ERASMUS+ framework.

ILARGIA LEAGUE : un colloque et la cinquième assemblée générale à Cluj-Napoca

THE THIRD SYMPOSIUM IMPLEMENTED BY ILARGIA LEAGUE WAS DONE IN CLUJ (10-11 november, 2022).

Main issue: the #EITA 2022 award given to Lycée Ravel for the ERASMUSPLUSANIMALS transnational partnership. Lectures tried to define what is a "good project". For our association, it's first a cooperative action wich provides satisfaction and/or pleasure to students but also to teachers in the same time a progress is made or some problems are overcome! For EU it means inclusive, sustainable and innovative actions in relation with european "Green Deal" and the digital transition. A very good local organization by Colegiul Economic Iulian Pop and the support of school Inspection did permit to relate some experiences after seven years and four projects carried out together (by France and Romania) since 2015. A big event with the participation of adults but also many students or former students very well qualified to disseminate some appropriated witnesses about the projects' impacts.

The certificate given to Mrs Stanca Vescan was a way to thank very officially the Headmistress for all the help the Romanian partner has given to the international coordinator during E+A (Noah) but also in the former and following partnerships. It was in the same time an opportunity to remind the efficient contribution of all the project holders (especially Ana Martins in Portugal, Hristo Milushev in Bulgaria) in ERASMUSPLUSANIMALS. People interested in the animals question must know Noah eTwinning is still alive. In the future a cooperative project about responsability is planned by Transilvanian and Basque teams, with protection of biodiversity and animal life as one of the a main issues.

A NEWSPAPER'S OUTLOOK ON #EITA2022 / "SUD OUEST" AND DISSEMINATION IN FRANCE

 

We celebrated the prize given for ERASMUSPLUSANIMALS the 14th of october, 2022, at the end of the ERASMUS MOB III (the dissemination event we use to implement each year in Saint Jean de Luz in order to present the internationalization of our teachings/learnings) with all our KA2 partners, holding the E+L.o.L. project and coming from Romania, Poland and Türkiye, in association with  KA1 team of Lycée Ravel (Mrs Petoin). The ceremony was made to enjoy both #EITA award and #Erasmusdays and to show how the #Erasmus+ programme is a great tool to make education systems become more inclusive and efficient. Also to thank our institutional supporters.

KA2 partners and eTwinners included in ERASMUS MOB II activities were not only the COLEGIUL ECONOMIC "IULIAN POP" in Cluj-Napoca and the DOBRICH VETERINARY HIGH SCHOOL in Dobrich (two of the three project holders involved in the cooperative programme E+A with the Agrupamento das escolas de Alcochete).  But also: the POLSKICH NOBLISTOWE school in Kwidzyn and the IMAM HAPTIP High School in Antalya ; the ULUSOY MARITIME VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL in Cesme ; former IES Stendhal (part of ViA EMERY HIGH SCHOOL) in Roma  ; the RIGAS. RAINA in Latvia ; and the BILGIC HIGH SCHOOL in Cesme.

Merci à tous les personnels permettant la réalisation de nos échanges transnationaux, également aux collègues ayant quitté l'établissement, dignement incarnés par M Geoffroy lors de cet événement médiatique, et à l'Agence Nationale Erasmus+ représentée par deux de ses jeunes agents (Mme Thibaudeau et M Guilhem-Ducleon) lesquels ont assisté notamment à l'atelier FAREWELL organisé au CDI en guise d'adieux à l'école.

 Nous sommes par ailleurs très sensibles à l'aide morale des collectivités locale et territoriale, au bon accueil que nous ont réservé M Xabi Garat et son épouse, et  redevables du soutien des associations et prestataires ayant collaboré avec nous. ERASMUS MOB II RESULTS

 La semaine de mobilisation en faveur de l'action européenne et internationale du Lycée Ravel s'est déroulée du 22 au 27 novembre.

Ses principaux résultats sont visibles en ligne : sur le site Noah

Sa thématique principale était  FORCES ET FRAGILITÉS DE LA NATURE

Elle a consisté en : 

- une semaine ERASMUS (ERASMUS MOB II,  du 22 au 26 novembre) comprenant des ateliers et conférences en présentiel comme en distanciel et valorisant les partenariats stratégiques ERASMUS+ du Lycée et ses eTwinnings.

- une session EUROSCOLA le 26 novembre consacrée à la lutte contre le changement climatique

- un séminaire bilatéral exceptionnel avec les porteurs de projets Roumains du partenaraire eVe+ (deux professeures présentes du 25 au 27)

Elle a débouché sur la projection publique du film THE ARK (produit durant l'événement ERASMUS MOB I de décembre 2020)  et la célébration des labels de qualité remis à l'établissement en 2018 et 2021 en même temps que l'inauguration du nouveau corner ERASMUS+ et du nouveau projet E+L.o.L. en présence d'une représentante du conseil municipal, Mme Loubet-Latour, et de Mme Dutoya, conseillère régionale et "marraine" des partenariats européens du Lycée.

Main theme of the week dedicated by Lycée Ravel to the promotion of European Collaboration and implemented between the 22nd and the 27th of november, 2021, was:

 STRENGTHS AND FRAGILITIES OF NATURE

It consisted of:

- an ERASMUS week (ERASMUS MOB II, from November 22 to 26) including face-to-face and remote workshops and conferences and highlighting the Lycée's ERASMUS + strategic partnerships and its eTwinnings

- a EUROSCOLA session on November 26 dedicated to the fight against climate change

- an exceptional bilateral seminar with the Romanian project leaders of the eVe + partner from the 25th to the 27th

We'll meet them and the students of the Ulusoy Maritime High School in Cesme tomorrow (in order to cooperate on a serious topic : seas and coasts in danger, due to Global Warming, Pollution and other troubles). Bulgaria and Portugal will be in, as it was the case Today in the remote workshop implemented to have a talk about the effects of global warming on animals. But also Romania and Latvia. Welcome to the World!

I - Our amendment to the eVe+  contract was accepted today by the French Erasmus+ Agency. It means the end of the QUINTESSENCE partnership is now officially postponed from August 2022 to August 2023 and also that the new agenda fixed in R1 (Riga) is definitively approved ! Congratulations to our fellows from Rigas.18 vidduskola in Latvia, colegiul economic "Iulian Pop" in Cluj-Napoca, Romania and Bilgic  High School in Cesme, Turkey. We are just waiting news from Riga in order to implement a drawing workshop as soon as the pupils will come back to school...

II - Our E+ corner will be renewed in a couple of days to make more efficient the publicity and dissemination of our two current projects : KA 201 QUINTESSENCE and KA 220 LAND OF LEGENDS

III - The second ERASMUS MOB event will take place from the 22nd to the 27th of November, made to celebrate international and european engagement of the High School. Some remote workshops will be implemented with our foreign partners involved in the eTwinnings WATER.WOR(L)DS and NOAH and some videoconferences will be done between the schools carrying together the Erasmus+ projects eVe+ and E+L.o.L. 

IV - The students will take part in the EUROSCOLA session organized by the Europarliament the 26th of November

V - Romanian project holders of eVe+ partnership will be probably present in Saint-Jean-de-Luz from the 24th to the 27th (and we hope they could play a role in the final ceremony, the 26th).

LE DERNIER VOYAGE D'ÉTUDE EST PRÉVU EN DÉCEMBRE. ENCORE FALLAIT-IL L'ORGANISER ET PRÉCISER LES MODALITÉS DU CONTRÔLE QUALITÉ ET DE LA PÉRENNISATION DU PROJET. TELS ÉTAIENT LES ENJEUX DU SÉMINAIRE R5.

R5 transnational meeting in Alcochete was focused on the COVID19 challenge since it was done to prepare the last exchange - to do in France (C5, to be implemented in december if it is possible !)

E+A C4 EXCHANGE IN ALCOCHETE: A DISSEMINATION MOVIE MADE BY DOBRICH TEAM

 

It was shown for the first time to the public audience at the beginning of the transnational meeting implemented in Alcochete in october, 2020: this film is  a report of C4 short-term exchange made by Dobrich team

(the mobility was organized by Portuguese teachers from the 13rd to the 17th of november, 2019)

ERASMUSDAY AND QUINTESSENCE PROJECT BEGINNINGS IN FRANCE

 

THE 16th OF OCTOBER, 2020

Mrs Dutoya, deputy of the Regional council, and some representatives of Saint Jean de Luz city: Mrs Arribas (in charge of school affairs) and Mr Quijano (international relationships) were in the High School's lobby last Friday in order to inaugurate the new Corner implemented to present the first results of the eVe+ partnership.

We did a photography with Mr Headmaster, Teachers and some of the students of the targeted group after they finished to ornament a blackboard with drawings inspired by water cycle problematics.

The period of Erasmusdays was also chosen by our National Agencey to send us a commemorative plaque of the "Good Practice" label wich was decerned to us by the National Agency for the management of our european partnerships (Nuits Blanches then Erasmusplusanimals) from 2014 to 2020.

The SECONDE OIB team will be involved in the eVE+ partnership from 2020 to 2022 and will take part of the last round of E+A project (wich duration was extended till December, 2020).

Students produced some drawings about one of the 4 elements: Water- and they will share its as soon as possible online.

THE ARK, AN ESQUISSE (a sketch) WAS DONE

L'ébauche du film transnational "L'ARCHE" que les écoles partenaires du projet Erasmusplusanimals sont censées produire dans le cadre de leur dernier échange C5 a été réalisée par une dizaine de lycéen(ne)s volontaires, élèves de Terminale au Lycée Ravel dans le cadre d'un stage d'été qui s'est déroulé du 15 au 24 mars : en tout ont eu lieu cinq jours de tournage, et une matinée de montage... pour aboutir à un premier produit qui doit encore être amélioré (postproduction destinée à augmenter la qualité des effets et du son).

Des pistes pour la coopération internationale ont été évoquées durant la semaine grâce à des échanges en direct : l'école d'Alcochete pourrait fournir les séquences introductive et conclusive, Andreea et l'équipe de Cluj-Napoca des musiques. L'équipe de Dobrich participera comme les autres à la fabrication de l'affiche du film. Tourner d'autres plans et parfaire le montage seront aussi des possibilités si C5 peut être maintenu, quoique avec retard, en novembre 2020, comme on l'espère tous !

The sketch (in French: esquisse) of the transnational film "THE ARK" that the partner schools engaged in the Erasmusplusanimals project are supposed to produce within the framework of their last C5 exchange was made by some Ravel high school students volunteering as part of an internship. This summer course was implemented from the 15th to 24th of March: in all, five days of filming took place, then a morning of editing, to lead to a first product which still needs to be improved (postproduction intended to increase the quality of the effects and sound).


Ways for international cooperation were evoked during the week thanks to peer-to-peer exchanges: the Alcochete school could provide the introductory and conclusive sequences, Cluj team some musics. The poster of the film could be drawn jointly during the next exchange including also Dobrich team. Shooting other sequences and perfecting the edition will be possible if C5 can be posptponed to November 2020, as we all hope!

RAVEL EN MODE G7. A movie for the reporting of our summits results

In order to respond to the National contest made in France for G7 summit, we had talks about Biodiversity and we made a role play on this theme in Dobrich the 15th of May. Thanks to our friends from Cluj-Napoca for their acceptance to become our guest stars in the film ! 

Then we did at home a brain storming to fight againts sexual inequities in Schools and change some rules in Education and eventually have produced seven proposals to overcome the challenge.

A MINI G7 CONTEST MADE IN FRANCE... AND IN BULGARIA !

French Government has asked to students to prepare a min G7 simulation. Pupils from Lycée Ravel are lucky, since they have made a first simulation "in English" in Dobrich in May, help to their E+A (Noah) Romanian partners, about Biodiversity... and a second one (but the brain storming was easier, cause it was "in French") about the ways to resolve/overcome  inequalities between males and females in Education.

(accès en cliquant sur la photographie ci-dessus) un compte-rendu en images des deux simulations en mode "mini G7" réalisées par nos élèves suite à l'invitation du Ministère de l'Education nationale transmise par le Rectorat. Nous avons d'abord eu l'idée d'imiter le mini sommet sur la Biodiversité organisé par les pays membres du G7 et de nombreux autres états en mai et profité du voyage d'étude en Bulgarie en mai pour associer nos partenaires les plus polyglotes à la réflexion, puis traité le thème imposé par le concours au Lycée, courant juin.
